The Future
It is not clear what the future is. Back when I was getting into Star Wars I was told there was going to be 7 films. However this wasn't actually true. There wasgoing to be 9. This is just an example of how facts and information can easily be wrong.

So what of episodes 7, 8 and 9? Well there is no mention of them that I could find on StarWars.com. Though I didn't dig through the forums or news archives. But on LucasFilm.com there is this:

" The circle will at last be complete when Star Wars: Episode III is released to theaters"

The cricle will be complete? That doesn't sound too promising. But perhaps they must mean the current trilogy. I was KillerMovies.com and there was a news article on Chewbacca who is apparently going to be in episode 3 and his contract is also for episodes 7-9. You can read the article here.

Unfortunatly, this doesn't mean they are going to be made for sure though they may just be planning ahead. But it is certainly a good sigh they are thinking about it.
